      <description>Held since 2005 by Abraji, the Congress brings together journalists, journalism professors and students interested in the best journalistic practices and reporting techniques. The 7th Congress strengthens the partnership between Abraji and the University Anhembi Morumbi, which will host the event for the fourth consecutive time. Among the speakers this year are some of the most experienced Brazilian journalists and more than ten international guests. The seventh edition of the event will feature lectures and workshops simultaneously, concentrated in a few major themes: online journalism, sports mega&#45;events and elections. In addition, the 2012 conference offers panels on politics, economy, environment, fundamentals of reporting, CAR techniques (Computer Assisted Reporting) and many other topics. The purpose of the conference is to examine the transformations brought about in the last year by social, economic, political and media changes.
