European journalists now have a hotline straight to their European Member of Parliament, courtesy of recently launched website Tweet your MEP.

Covering all 27 member states and available in English, French, German and Dutch, the website provides an easy platform through which to contact the third of MEPs who are signed up to Twitter accounts. Organised by country and topic, you can select the best person for your particular research or story.

Users need to be signed up to Twitter in order to send messages to the MEP of their choice.
