Web site examines ethics in Asian media
To generate discussion on the ethical issues confronting journalism in Asia, the Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility (CMFR) and the Asia Media Forum (AMF) launched a blog on Asian journalism ethics in January. The site, Eye on the Asian Media: Asia Media Forum (http://www.eyeonethics.org), features stories and analyses. Readers may comment on articles, offer opinions, as well as contribute content to encourage dialogue. The site also contains various journalism codes of ethics from across the continent and links to other media ethics resources. Luis V. Teodoro, CMFR deputy director and journalism professor at the University of the Philippines, is the editor of the site. (International Journalists Network)
