Lebanese newspaper channel launched online
One of the leading newspapers in Lebanon has launched an online channel which aims to provide its audience with interesting and informative behind-the-scenes journalism aimed at strengthening the brand's presence in the region. The newspaper, An-Nahar, chose Youtube, the worldwide video sharing platform, to post their videos. According to the Arab Press Network, a team of three is expected to produce two videos each a day, covering the most important stories covered by the An-Nahar newspaper. The site will feature stories for youth, stories of ordinary people's lives in Beirut as well as interviews with An-Nahar's leading newspaper columnists explaining the key points of the articles they are writing for the print edition.
