“Interfacing Innovation” will debate all of these questions and more, with a special focus on the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
Co-organised by the European Journalism Centre and the European Commission, the conference boasts the leading lights in technology and innovation.
It features several ambassadors from the European Year of Creativity and Innovation, officials from CERN and researchers from Stanford University – all shaping an ongoing dialogue, across time and states.

This year, he is Ambassador of European Year of Creativity and Innovation 2009.

He worked as a programme planner for a German TV station and helped launch and operate TV channels and works for diverse media sector clients, among them the EJC. He teaches media economy, technology and content development at several universities.

In 1998 Damini invented the world's first non drip tea pot the 'D-pot' and disproved years of scientific research into the ubiquitous problem of the dripping tea pot. In 1999 she launched the first range of D-Pots at the BBC's Tomorrows World Exhibition.
